The minimalist aesthetic is even more pronounced, while the 3mm thick titanium front adds character to the collection, displaying the unparalleled Blackfin spirit in every detail.
Design at its purest: To truly see a pair of blackfin Atlantics is to slide your gaze along its neat lines. We poured all of our expertise into a complete redesign of the frame’s mechanical components for absolute, minimalist sophistication.
Blackfin Atlantic takes the technological advancements it has developed to date to a whole new level. In fact, the rim locks and hinges are integrated right into the 3mm titanium front section, combining precision mechanics with a flexible design. A unique framework that encapsulates complex mechanisms in a minimalist structure – the embodiment of complexity and simplicity.
Super comfortable, super high-tech glasses must also be super comfortable. New nose pad arms allow for easier full-range adjustment for a precise fit on any nose. And, to ensure perfect adhesion and outperform the critical aspects of silicone, the nose pads are covered in ultra-soft medical-grade PVC.
Every face is different, but the adaptability of the Blackfin Atlantic remains a constant. The temples are cut from sheets of beta titanium that are five tenths of a millimeter thick, making them incredibly flexible. Patented Swordfish Sideburn Tips convey unprecedented comfort as sideburn length can be quickly adjusted to fit facial contours.
The material of the future: Titanium is the core material that shapes our eyewear. The front is cut from a single piece of titanium, a hypoallergenic, non-toxic material that’s 40% lighter than steel yet just as strong. With this manufacturing technique, welding is reduced to a minimum, ensuring unparalleled strength and preventing breakage or deformation.
Unique Colors: Color has always been a major feature of Blackfin, and this series is no exception. The artistic skill of the hand makes unprecedented colors and stunning shades possible. Innovative technical skills allow us to create finishes with a polished effect using the physical deposition of metal vapor through Nano Plating™, making every style more refined.
