ClearVision Launches New Optical Line of Eyewear

ClearVision Optical has launched a new brand, Uncommon, for men who are confident in their purposeful approach to fashion. The affordable collection offers innovative designs, exceptional attention to detail, and premium materials such as premium acetate, titanium, beta-titanium, and stainless steel.

Even as the shapes range from thicker modern sleek styles to vintage-inspired fronts, the designs are unified in the way elements are expertly incorporated. Double-line accents, exclusive hinges, engraved Windsor rims, wood grain patterns—all of these features and more embody the collection’s thoughtful design. One detail that’s present on every frame: a hint of textured olive drab on the inside of the temples.

ClearVision surveyed eye care professionals to better understand how men shop for eyewear and ensure the company could meet the needs of ECPs and their patients with the Uncommon collection. The data conveyed a strong message: Men want comfortable eyewear, but they have a hard time finding it. Nearly half of respondents said larger sizes were the top need for men’s eyewear. Additionally, comfort and fit were rated as the top two factors influencing men’s purchasing decisions.

In addition to the usual XL sizes across the ClearVision brand portfolio, Uncommon offers an expanded XL selection with eye sizes up to size 62 and temple lengths up to 160mm. This expanded range ensures that, for every man who wants to stand out, size is not a barrier.

The Uncommon collection features three design stories—Vintage, Classic and Fashion—and an expanded size range of XL frames up to size 62 that draw on classic and fashion design languages. Across all stories, the eyewear includes discoverable details, innovative components and premium materials for a unique look and feel.

This fashion-forward story showcases bold designs and rich colors complemented by premium materials with subtle textures; gradient, flared, and clear colors; and stylish eye shapes. Heavy temples and a sleek front showcase details like metal accents and woodgrain carvings.
