British independent luxury eyewear brands Cutler and Gross have launched their Autumn/Winter 23 collection: The After Party. The collection captured the wild, unfettered zeitgeist of the 80s and 90s, and the mood of seemingly endless nights. It transforms the club scene and dim street scene into contrasting tones in 10 styles: 9 glasses and 5 sunglasses. Gender-bending silhouettes, bold shots, and unique details ensure that each style is inherently iconic.

Cutler and Gross have reinvented the iconic 1402 sunglasses into a bold optical eyewear. Oyster and Compass Star badges add gloss to the frame, which is carved into a thick square outline that pays homage to our archive from the 80s.

In the smoke of Studio 54, a square frame blocks the view: this is the origin of the 1403 sunglasses and optical sunglasses. It is hand-crafted with a stable 7-bar hinge and features our iconic Compass Star insignia.

The brand logo elevates the 1405 optics. It is handmade in Italy in an 80s inspired round shape with an oyster and Compass Star insignia. An Art Deco core wire enhances the classic silhouette.

The 1406 Optics presents an understated alternative to the classic chunky frame. It is handmade from a sheet of acetate, on which the fins and fender tips are ground. The acetate color scheme of olive black, Havana brown, opal cyan and popular tone Humble Potato enhances the classic appeal of this picture frame.

1407 Optics and sunglasses present a maximum treatment of the cat’s eye. Its styling uses a high order brow line and layered structure to reconcile the pigment black acetate with crystal edges. The bold framework pays homage to a bygone era while maintaining a clear current edge.
