Skaga introduces a new ultra-thin metal frame for the FW23 (5)

Skaga has introduced an unprecedented new design of slim glasses that are light, comfortable and elegant, brilliantly representing the Swedish brand’s refined pursuit of modern minimalism. The new hinged geometry that connects form and function – when viewed from above, it is reminiscent of the Skaga “S” logo – is the embodiment of subtle refinement and clever colour interpretation.

Ultra-thin 0.8mm sideburns and a unique hinge design, reminiscent of the Skaga “S” logo when viewed from above, are features of this lightweight optical frame with a timeless square front. When metal sideburns are used in conjunction with a varnish finish, the responsible acetate eye edge is in the same hue as the sideburn tip and contains solid, transparent and Havana interpretations. Subtle brand identity signage includes the “S” logo located under the epoxy on the inside of the sideburn and the laser “1948 Heritage” logo located on the outside of the left sideburn. The color palette includes turtle/gold, green/blue, blue/brown, and wine/gold.

For him, this lightweight optical style features a square front, ultra-thin 0.8mm sideburns and a unique hinge design that, when viewed from above, is reminiscent of Skaga’s “S” logo. This model has a responsible color block acetate wheel, the tone of the temple tip is solid and clear, while the metal temple comes in a painted matte or semi-matte finish. The “S” logo was laser-treated on the temple to show the shiny plating effect below, and epoxy resin was used on the inside of the tip of the sun lip. The laser-carved “Heritage 1948″ logo on the outside of the left sideburn is a subtle sign of the brand’s enduring identity. Color options for this style include gray/cannon fodder, brown/light blue, brown/blue, and khaki/brown.

This feminine all-metal optical frame features a minimalist, flat circular front with an ultra-thin 0.8mm side stay and a unique hinge design that, when viewed from above, is reminiscent of the Skaga “S” logo. While the refined color contrast on the low relief on the upper part of the frame embodies the model’s refined aesthetic, the “s” logo under the epoxy on the inside of the temple tip and the “1948 Heritage” logo on the outside of the left temple tip provide the brand identity. The color range includes matte dark grey, matte mint, matte blue and purple metallic semi-matte options.
