Inspired by the geometric structures and colored filters created by artist Daniel Buren, this central idea of our new women’s optical line, SQUARE, commemorates the iconic square of J.F. REY. Its striking design and creative use of acetate, along with its distinctive structural, color, and transparency aspects, make it stand out. This line elevates each of these frames into a genuine visual work of art by creatively fusing modern art and architecture.
This idea is embodied in the geometric design of the temples, which combine simple metal and acetate forms with contrasts between opaque and translucent materials, monochromatic hues, and sophisticated patterns to create a minimalist look. The priceless J.F. REY squares, which are made without temple armatures and have vivid, crystalline colors, emphasize the brand’s unique slogan, “In square we trust”!
These sculptural frames have enticing graphic elegance and beautiful thicknesses that make them both smart and charming. The fronts’ structural elements provide a distinctive appearance by capturing even the smallest subtleties. A “visual surprise” that characterizes our products, iridescent colors such as those of the SCARLET 4430 model emphasize this effect by continuously unveiling new aesthetic viewpoints.
