The Unique Design Of The Tree Spectacles Brand Shows Opaque Contrast

1

With its innovative spirit and expertise to create exquisite surfaces and finishes, Tree Spectacles showcases the Malia, Dite and Ada optical models, a collection distinguished by technical precision and artisan Italian virtuosity.

Lightweight and bold in construction, the new frame reinvents the 3D concept, creating an interesting contrast in texture and surface, and elegantly interpreting the transparency trend. The front of the frame has a delicate sculptural feel, and an attractive two-tone effect creates a light and shadow effect. The natural palette of amber, dark green and dark grey tones is interspersed with bright translucent reds and gorgeous delicate lilac tones.

The three new styles in the Acetate Bold collection feature a unique 5mm thick front – the signature feature of the TREE label.

The MALIA model in the BOLD series has a striking square eye shape and architectural structure. The section at the front of the frame (red and lilac) is subjected to very clever laser technology to create an opaque surface at the inner edge. The frames are also available in clear amber and solid classic black.

The BOLD SERIES men’s DITE’s strong square silhouette is a good example of this season’s thick-edged acetate trend. The frames come in solid black, translucent dark green, and shiny/opaque contrasting shades of dark/light gray and black/light gray.

The third frame in the collection – the model ADA – boasts a confident rectangular eye shape and flat brow lines. The frames come in black/grey, green/grey, and a contrasting palette of shiny/opaque shades of transparent red and transparent amber.

Marco Barp, co-founder of TREE SPECTACLES, grew up in a family of eyeglass manufacturers in Belluno, Italy. His first collection, launched at MIDO in 2012, was the result of intensive research and development to create a niche product “made in Italy” with carbon fibre “laminated” wood – a design innovation that was quickly lauded (and patented) for its lightness, comfort, flexibility and unique beauty.

Today, the company produces a wide variety of collections, including luxury and design collections in wood, carbon fiber, buffalo horn, titanium and bioacetate.
